Australian Pet Insurance Inquiry
Hi everyone! We’ve recently been advised by our vet to feed our 3-year-old cat Royal Canin Urinary S/O due to some urinary issues. While the food is working well for him, it’s quite pricey on a fortnightly basis, so I’m hesitant to switch to a more affordable option.
I came across Pet Insurance Australia and wanted to know if they are a reputable insurer. Do they cover prescription diets, and is there a cap on the amount they reimburse for these types of foods? I couldn’t find this information on their website.
If Pet Insurance Australia isn’t the best option, I would appreciate any recommendations for other Australian pet insurance providers that cover prescription diets, routine care, consultations, and medications.
Thanks in advance!
