Dental Insurance for Cavities
I’m in need of some guidance… It’s been a while since my last dental visit, and I recently discovered that I have 15 cavities needing treatment. The costs for out-of-pocket care are incredibly high. Can anyone recommend dental insurance that offers strong coverage for cavity fillings? I’ll definitely be needing it in the future!
Dental insurance for 15 cavities

I’m sorry to hear about your situation! When looking for dental insurance that covers cavity fillings, here are a few options to consider:
Delta Dental: They offer a range of plans with good coverage for fillings and preventive care. Some plans may cover a higher percentage of the costs after you meet your deductible.
Cigna Dental: Cigna has plans that usually cover fillings at a high percentage after the deductible, especially if you choose an in-network provider.
MetLife Dental: MetLife typically provides plans with good coverage for cavity fillings, often including discounts for preventive services.
Guardian Dental: Guardian dental plans often have comprehensive coverage for fillings, and some plans even cover them after a waiting period.
Dental Savings Plans: If insurance premiums are too high, consider a dental savings plan. While not insurance, these plans offer significant discounts on procedures, including fillings.
Be sure to read the fine print on waiting periods and coverage limits. It might also be helpful to contact local dentists to see if they offer any payment plans or financing options for treatment. Good luck!
