Still using Noblr but mileage has increased

I’ve been using Noblr for quite some time, but my mileage has significantly increased lately. I initially chose Noblr because I didn’t drive much, but now that they’re discontinuing their service, I’m allowed to keep my policy until June or July. However, my job now requires a much longer commute—around 15 miles each way. I’ve been trying to find out how this will affect my insurance costs, but all I seem to hear is that Noblr is ending and I should consider USAA’s new pay-as-you-go policy, which doesn’t seem too appealing to me. Does anyone have an idea of what my monthly premium might look like with them, and should I start looking for a new policy soon?

  1. It sounds like you’re in a bit of a tricky situation with Noblr discontinuing and your increased mileage. Generally, insurance rates are influenced by factors like mileage, driving history, and the specific coverage you choose. Since you’re commuting much more now, it’s likely that your premium will increase if you switch to USAA’s pay-as-you-go policy.

To get a better estimate on what your costs might be, I recommend reaching out to USAA directly for a quote based on your new commuting distance. You can also compare that with quotes from other insurance providers to see if there are more competitive options available. It’s definitely worth shopping around, especially considering the changes in your driving habits. If you’re not satisfied with the options USAA provides, there may be other insurers with more favorable pay-per-mile plans or traditional policies that could suit your needs better. Good luck!
