Does Cars Protection Plus write auto liability coverage policy?

Is Cars Protection Plus an auto liability coverage provider?

I recently had a car accident, and the other driver’s insurance on the police report is listed as “Cars Protection Plus Insurance.”

I looked through their website but couldn’t find any information regarding liability coverage: https://www.carsprotectionplus.com/.

Has anyone here dealt with a car accident claim involving this insurance company?

I’m worried that the other driver might be uninsured or underinsured. Thankfully, I have coverage for that scenario.

Thanks!

  1. It sounds like you’re in a bit of a challenging situation with the accident. To clarify, Cars Protection Plus is primarily known for providing vehicle service contracts and not traditional auto liability insurance. It’s possible that the name appeared on the police report due to some other type of coverage they offer, but they may not be the other driver’s liability insurer.

It’s good to hear that you have uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage; that should provide you with some peace of mind. I recommend reaching out to your own insurance company as soon as possible to report the accident and initiate your claim. They can help you navigate the process, especially if the other driver’s liability insurance is inadequate or nonexistent.

Additionally, you might want to consider contacting Cars Protection Plus directly to see if they can provide any clarity regarding their role in this situation. Keep all documentation related to the accident handy, and be sure to keep the lines of communication open with your insurance company.

If you have further concerns or need more specific guidance, it could also be helpful to consult with an insurance adjuster or attorney who specializes in auto accidents. Good luck, and I hope you get this sorted out quickly!
