Experiencing problems with State Farm
My mortgage company is unable to finalize the claim on their end due to a discrepancy in the payout amounts. Their documents indicate that the payout should be $48,734, while State Farm’s final adjuster’s worksheet states it’s only $43,×××. Can anyone explain why there’s such a difference?
Having issues with State Farm

It sounds frustrating to be dealing with that discrepancy! The difference in payout amounts could be due to a few reasons. Sometimes, the mortgage company and the insurance adjuster might calculate damages differently based on specific criteria or items included in the claim. It’s also possible that some costs might have been overlooked or miscalculated in either party’s paperwork.
I recommend reaching out to your State Farm claims adjuster to ask for clarification on how they arrived at the final payout amount. It may help to have the specific details from both the adjuster’s worksheet and the mortgage company’s documents to compare. Communication between all parties involved is key to resolving these types of issues. Good luck!
