Please help insure my vehicle

Seeking Insurance for My Special Construction Vehicle

Hi everyone, I hope you can assist me! I live in California and I’m having a hard time finding insurance for my unique construction vehicle. I’ve approached nearly every insurance provider, but none will cover it. It’s a 2018 Exomotive Exocet, and all I want is to enjoy driving it. It’s legally registered in California and I have the title. Any leads would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  1. It sounds frustrating to deal with insurance issues for your special construction vehicle. Here are a few suggestions that might help:

    1. Specialized Insurance Companies: Look for insurance companies that specialize in unique or specialty vehicles. They may be more willing to insure an exomotive Exocet than standard insurers.

    2. Classic or Collector Car Insurance: Some providers specialize in classic or collector car insurance, which might also cover custom vehicles. It could be worth checking with companies that cater to those markets.

    3. Umbrella Insurance Policies: If you have other insurance policies (like home or auto), ask your current insurance provider if they can offer a rider or an umbrella policy that includes your Exocet.

    4. Online Forums and Communities: Join forums or social media groups related to Exocet owners or custom vehicle enthusiasts. Members may have recommendations for insurers who have worked well for them.

    5. Speak to a Broker: Consider working with an insurance broker who has experience with specialty vehicles. They may have access to markets that are not available to the general public.

    6. Documentation: Make sure you have all necessary documentation, including title, registration, and any specifications of the vehicle, as this can help when speaking to insurers.

    7. Contact State Insurance Department: If you’re still having difficulty, contacting the California Department of Insurance may provide additional resources or suggestions.

Good luck, and I hope you’re able to find the coverage you need!
