Progressive’s Snapshot has the unintended effect of discouraging safe driving in some instances. The constant beeping when I brake suddenly has led me to drive through yellow lights at 40mph, something I never did before using Snapshot. I’ve always obeyed the speed limit and slowed down for yellow lights. However, the heavy traffic in my town makes it difficult to avoid hard braking.
