Statefarm is canceling my insurance.
I just received notice that Statefarm is canceling my policy due to three accidents from 2022. Two of those accidents weren’t my fault, as I was rear-ended in both. Is this a common situation? Which insurance company would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!
I’m sorry to hear about your situation; that sounds really frustrating. Unfortunately, many insurance companies do have policies regarding the number of accidents, even if they’re not your fault. It’s typically a way for them to assess risk, but it doesn’t always feel fair when you’ve done nothing wrong.
For alternatives, you might want to consider companies known for being more lenient with accidents, like Progressive, GEICO, or USAA (if you’re eligible). It’s a good idea to shop around and get quotes from different insurers. Also, some companies offer accident forgiveness policies, which can be beneficial in your situation. Make sure to compare coverage options as well!
Good luck, and I hope you find a solution that works for you!
