I have a question regarding my Gap insurance after a recent accident in which I was at fault and was inaccurately charged with driving under the influence. Although the court resulted in a violation, it was categorized as a “wet” reckless offense. My car insurance is with Progressive, while my Gap insurance is through Ally.

I don’t really expect them to cover my $5,000 balance, but I think it’s worth a shot!

Just to clarify, I only tested positive for Adderall at a therapeutic level and trace amounts of THC since I had smoked with a friend the night before. I’m pretty embarrassed about this situation. Any advice would be appreciated!
