How long does statefarm underwriters take to approve a policy?

How long does it typically take for State Farm underwriters to approve a policy? I’m trying to get my RV insured, and my agent submitted the policy to the underwriters three weeks ago. We’re still waiting, and it feels like an unusually long wait.

  1. It’s understandable to feel frustrated waiting for an approval, especially when it’s taking longer than expected. Typically, state farm underwriters can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to review and approve policies, but there can be various reasons for delays—like additional information needed or a high volume of applications.

Since it’s been three weeks, it might be a good idea to check in with your agent for an update. They can provide more insight into the status of your application and whether there are any outstanding issues that need addressing. Patience can be tough in these situations, but hopefully, you’ll have your policy approved soon!
