Switching insurance companies

Changing Insurance Providers

After experiencing significant increases in my auto insurance rates every six months for the past two and a half years—despite having no claims or violations—I’ve decided to look for a new insurance company.

I’d appreciate any feedback from readers here, whether positive or negative, regarding Safeco, Travelers, and Mutual of Enumclaw. Thank you!

  1. It’s frustrating to deal with constant rate increases, especially when you’ve maintained a clean driving record. When it comes to Safeco, Travelers, and Mutual of Enumclaw, here are some insights based on general feedback:

    Safeco:
Favorable: Safeco often gets good reviews for its customer service and a user-friendly online platform. They offer customizable policies, which can help you get the coverage you need without unnecessary extras.
Unfavorable: Some customers have reported that claims processing can be slow and that premiums may not always be the most competitive after the initial sign-up period.

    Travelers:
Favorable: Travelers is known for its strong financial stability and a wide range of coverage options. They also have a variety of discounts available that can help lower your premium.
Unfavorable: Some policyholders have expressed dissatisfaction with customer service and claims handling. It’s essential to read reviews that match your location since experiences can vary widely.

    Mutual of Enumclaw:
Favorable: This company is often praised for its personalized customer service and community-oriented approach. Many users appreciate the local agent support that can help with claims and policy questions.
Unfavorable: They might not have as extensive a coverage network as larger providers, which could be a consideration if you travel frequently or move often.

Ultimately, it’s a good idea to get quotes from all three and read recent reviews specific to your area. Checking with your local agents and asking about specific coverage needs can also help you make the best decision. Good luck!
