While riding in a designated bike lane during daylight hours, he was struck by a vehicle. Thankfully, he emerged from the incident with only minor injuries. However, navigating the aftermath has been challenging.

The driver who collided with him was deemed at fault, and her insurance company, Progressive, has presented a settlement offer. They propose to cover up to $10,000 in medical expenses along with an additional $1,000 as compensation. As we eagerly await the emergency room bill, which will include costs for a few x-rays, we find ourselves contemplating whether this offer is adequate.
