Named non owner policy

Subject: Seeking Named Non-Owner Policy Options

I just reached out to Progressive for a quote on a named non-owner policy, as I need liability insurance for rental cars. However, the representative informed me that they no longer offer these policies to new customers.

Can anyone recommend another provider? Where are people currently getting these types of policies? Thanks!

  1. It sounds like you’re in a bit of a tricky situation! If Progressive no longer offers named non-owner policies, there are other options you can explore:

    1. Other Insurance Companies: Check with other major insurers such as Geico, State Farm, Allstate, or USAA if you’re eligible. Many of them offer non-owner car insurance policies.

    2. Online Insurance Comparison Sites: Websites like The Zebra or Insurify allow you to compare quotes from various insurance providers side by side, which can help you find a named non-owner policy that meets your needs.

    3. Local Independent Insurance Agents: Sometimes independent agents have access to a wider range of companies and may know of options that aren’t widely advertised.

    4. Rideshare Insurance Providers: Some companies that provide insurance for rideshare drivers also offer non-owner policies.

    5. Check for Specialty Insurers: There are some niche insurance companies that specialize in non-owner policies. It might be worth looking into a few of those.

Make sure to explain your specific needs when you call so they can best assist you. Good luck!
