Online Study Courses RIBO

Looking for Recommendations on Online RIBO Study Courses

Hi everyone! I’m considering a career in insurance brokering and would love your recommendations on study courses. I’ve come across some concerning stories regarding PNC (mainly about providing inaccurate information), so I’m focusing on the IBAO ($655) and IIOC ($350) courses. If anyone has personal experience with either, I’d really appreciate your feedback.

One thing I like about IBAO is that it offers 180 days of access compared to 120 days for IIOC, but I’m unsure if the extra $300 is justifiable. I’ve also seen comments from individuals who didn’t take a course at all, which makes me question whether spending more is even worth it.

Additionally, I’d welcome any tips on starting in this industry. Thanks so much in advance for your help!

Edit: I’m struggling to find reviews on the IBAO courses, so I’m particularly eager to hear more about them. I’d also appreciate any insights on the IIOC courses, as I haven’t come across much information. It would be great to see the course interfaces and get a sense of how the content is organized.

  1. Hi there!

It’s great to hear that you’re considering a career in insurance brokering! I can understand how choosing the right course can be a bit overwhelming, especially with varying opinions and experiences out there.

Regarding the IBAO and IIOC courses, both have their pros and cons. The IBAO course is known for its comprehensive content, and the extra study time (180 days) can be beneficial if you prefer a more relaxed study pace. However, if you’re organized and can manage your time well, the IIOC course might suffice, especially since it’s at a lower cost and could still provide the foundation you need.

As for reviews, it can be tricky to find subjective experiences, but I suggest checking out insurance forums, LinkedIn groups, or even connecting with current insurance professionals who might have taken these courses. They might offer insights into the course materials, interface, and overall experience.

To break into the industry, networking is crucial. Attend industry events, join insurance associations, and connect with professionals on social media. Gaining experience through internships or entry-level positions can also be invaluable.

Good luck on your journey into insurance brokering! Feel free to ask if you have any more questions!
