I discovered copies of my driver’s license and registration card in the online claim dashboard, specifically in the section for vehicle damage inspection photos. This is from the insurance company of the person who hit me.
I spoke with them about four years ago, and they assured me that they would delete my information after the claim was closed.
I’m planning to reach out to them again, but even if they delete the files now, is it typical to have my private information exposed for such a long time?
Shouldn’t this kind of information be kept private? It should only include photos of the vehicles.
