Need Assistance!

Hello everyone! My dad has recently changed our car insurance to Auto Owners, and he mentioned that other drivers can be covered under our policy. I’m curious if this also includes visitors from Europe who hold a valid driver’s license here. I couldn’t find any information on the website, so I would really appreciate your help with this as soon as possible! Thank you!

  1. Hi there! It’s great that you’re looking into the details of your dad’s auto insurance policy. Generally, many auto insurance policies do cover occasional drivers, including friends or family members, but the specifics can vary by insurer and policy. In many cases, if someone has a valid driver’s license and permission to drive the insured vehicle, they may be covered under the policy.

As for visitors from Europe, if they have a valid driver’s license and comply with any other requirements (like staying within a certain time frame for driving in the U.S.), they are often covered as well. However, it’s crucial to check your dad’s specific policy details or call the insurance agent directly to get a definitive answer. They can clarify any concerns and ensure everyone is protected. Hope this helps!
