I suspect that the Body Shop might be overcharging my insurance. After getting my vehicle back yesterday—after having it for over a month—I didn’t inspect it closely at first. However, when I checked it today, I reviewed the bill of repairs submitted to the insurance company. While a few minor issues appear to have been addressed, most of the items look just as they did before, seemingly untouched. What should I do now? I attempted to call the shop, but the person I spoke to seemed preoccupied, and when I asked if they were taking advantage of insurance companies, they didn’t respond at all.
Pretty sure the Body Shop is ripping my Insurance off big time.

It’s definitely frustrating to feel like you’re not getting what you paid for, especially after being without your vehicle for so long. Here are some steps you can take:
Document Everything: Take detailed photos of your vehicle, highlighting areas that were supposed to be repaired. Also, keep a copy of the bill and any communication you’ve had with the Body Shop.
Review Your Insurance Policy: Check your policy to understand what repairs were authorized and covered. This will help you determine if the Body Shop is billing for anything that wasn’t approved.
Contact the Body Shop: Try calling again to speak with someone who can help address your concerns. It might be helpful to ask for a manager or supervisor.
Request a Detailed Invoice: Ask the Body Shop for a detailed breakdown of the repairs that were completed. This should include specific descriptions of the work done and any parts that were replaced.
File a Complaint with Your Insurance Company: If you believe that the Body Shop is trying to defraud the insurance company, notify your insurer. They may investigate the situation further and address it with the Body Shop.
Consumer Protection: If things don’t resolve, consider contacting your local consumer protection agency or look into filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Consider Professional Help: Sometimes it might be worth consulting with a legal expert if you believe you have been wronged and are not getting a satisfactory resolution.
Hopefully, you can get this sorted out soon!
