Auto Insurance Quotes, 23 F
Hey everyone! I’m a 23-year-old from Alabama and I’m planning to get my own auto insurance policy. For years, I’ve been paying my parents $150 a month. I drive a 2017 Nissan Maxima and have had my own loan on it for the past three years. I’ve never had any tickets or accidents, and I’ve been licensed since I was 16.
Currently, my quotes are ranging from the high $200s to low $300s. I’m wondering if there are any reputable insurance companies I should consider that might offer better rates. I did get a quote from Progressive for around $200/month, but they’ve applied quite a few discounts, so I’m concerned it might increase significantly next term. I’ve heard mixed reviews about National General, and I’m curious if anyone has any recommendations or experiences to share. Thanks!
It sounds like you’re on the right track by shopping around for quotes, and it’s great that you have a clean driving record! While Progressive is often competitive, it’s understandable to be cautious about future rate hikes. Here are a few other companies you might consider for quotes:
Make sure to ask about all possible discounts (for safe driving, membership programs, bundling, etc.) and consider reaching out to local agents who might have insights into specific regional discounts or offers.
Lastly, it may be worthwhile to check reviews and customer service ratings for any company you consider. Good luck, and I hope you find a great rate!
